On the FIT Library page, under research guides there is a specific guide on "Advertising, Marketing and Media Planning". There is a tab on the guide that links to sources to find advertisements. I include a link to that page: http://fitnyc.libguides.com/c.php?g=66311&p=427539
We also have a research guide especially made for the EN 121 students. There is a tab on this guide for "advertisements".
Depending on your time period you may want to look in the book series All American Ads located on the 5th floor at:NC998.5.A1 A58 2005
Hopefully these recommendations will be useful to you in your research.
