To find books and other items on Course Reserve, search our catalog, in the Course Reserve search: StyleCat You can search by title, author, your instructor’s last name, your course number or course name, etc.
To determine if you can borrow the book, when you find the right Stylecat record for the book, select the link of "Is it here? Click here to see all copies and locations for this title." This will tell you the loan period for the specific book. In general, you can borrow the course reserve books for a short term use - usually only two hours at a time but this can vary. Most reserve items, including all two-hour loan items, are restricted to Library use only.
Because of heavy demands for reserve materials, there is a limit on the number of items that can be checked out at one time, no holds are allowed, fines for late returns are high and will not be waived for overdue reserve material. Consult Reserves page for more.
If you don't find your book listed in Course Reserves, check the Main Library Catalog in StyleCat. We may have a copy of the book you need but it may not actually be on course reserve.
