What's covered in the Q&A's? What's not and where else can I search?

  • The Q&As are [mostly] some of the real questions submitted through our Ask The Library service by FIT students, faculty, alumni and other researchers.
  • While some of the questions and answers are really specific, many are more general and deal with library policies, services and materials.
  • If you're looking for detailed suggestions on how to research a subject--what databases or books to use, help with choosing words and phrases to get a better search result, etc-- try our Research Guides
  • The library website search will search all library pages (but not these Q&As) and give you the most detail on library policies (e.g. borrowing books and DVDs) and services (e.g. computers, software, printing, copying and scanning).
  • StyleCat is the way to see if the FIT Library has the book, e-book or DVD you want
  • Our Databases A-Z page lists all of the library's online subscriptions for articles, reports , statistics, images, etc.
  • Are you not sure where to search or overwhelmed by the choices? You can always still Ask the Library via our question form, email, live chat, phone or in person!
