We have created a Research Guide called FIT: History and Influential People to help you find the information you need for your assignment. As for Katie Murphy, here is an excerpt from the research guide that will help you get started on researching this particular individual, and other FIT people.

  • Make sure you have the correct, complete, and varying forms of a person’s name when you are searching for information.For example, the woman commonly referred to on campus as “Katie Murphy” was formally known as  “Katherine Murphy" or “Katherine Murphy Grout”.
