Q. How can I get access to result that doesn't offer full text pdf?
I searched topic that i was interested in on FIT Library Onesearch. While some results has full text pdf or html link that shows full text, lots of them didn't give me any link that I can access to the source I wanted. How can I access to those resource?
Thank you for contacting us. FIT Library OneSearch retrieves results not only of full-text articles available electronically, but also resources available in the library's physical collection. In those cases, OneSearch will indicate the call number of the item's location in our library and whether it is available for checkout.
In other cases, FIT does not have full-text electronic access to every article indexed in OneSearch. You can also use our Journal Search to see if we have a print copy of the journal the article appears in. If we don't have the item (either through print or electronic access), you can request it through ILL (InterLibrary Loan) or visit another library that has it.
Please let us know if we can provide any additional assistance for you. Good luck with your search!
If you are not a current FIT or SUNY student or employee, you must request an appointment in order to use the FIT Library. Please see Visit the Libraryand submit your request through the form on that page.
