To request library research instruction for your class, please complete an online Instruction Request Form.

  • Beginning with the Spring 2018 semester, we ask that you complete the form at least two weeks in advance for all sessions requested, including those for day, evening and weekend classes. The amount of notice required and other restrictions and guidelines will vary semester-by-semester, and is dependent on staffing and scheduling issues.

  • Sessions can be led by a librarian or self-led by the classroom faculty.

    • Librarian-led workshop and orientation sessions can provide an orientation to the library, teach general or assignment driven research and information literacy skills, or teach students how to use a variety of subscription databases. Self-led sessions can take place in the Forecasting area with the possibility of extending it to a nearby classroom to use related databases.
