Click on the Hoover's link through the FIT Database pages. This is always the best way into our databases.

  1. You can use links from the A-Z database list or any appropriate subject database listings.  All these pages are constantly updated to keep our connections to the databases current.   Sometimes people Google "FIT Library databases,"  which unfortunately might link them to an out-of-date or administrative page that doesn't work, and we have no control over the Google search results.
  2. All of our databases have an initial log-in page. Enter your FIT username (without the @fitnyc.edu) and your password.
  3. Many common problems can be identified and solved using our Database FAQ (Frequently-Asked Questions) & Troubleshooter. Sometimes just trying a different browser or clearing your browser history or cache will help.
  4. If you don't see your problem listed or if you still can't resolve it, of course you can always use Ask the Library to email or chat with us, call us at 212-217-4400 or text us at 646-759-9553.

There was an unusual Hoovers access problem ("IP address blocked")  In November 2018 that  was eventually resolved. If you see something like that again, please let us know!
